Designed for the Great Central Railway these 2-8-0 goods engines were adopted as the standard design for the War Departments' Railway Operating Department (ROD) during the first world war. A new model of the Southern Railway V or Schools Class 4-4-0. Together with the T9 and Bulleid pacifics three generations of Southern express passenger locomotives will then be available in OO. 37429 was allocated to the Railfreight Construction??business sector. Painted in the Railfreight??triple grey livery with construction chequer board logo 37429 would have been used on trains of aggregates, cement, bricks and other building materials, such as the Plasmor block trains.

Powered by a centrally mounted motor with flywheels in a diecast chassis drives two axles on each bogie through??helical reduction gears. The bodyshell has been produced from completely new tooling designed by ex-Lima engineers. The GWR 56xx class 0-6-2 locomotives were built initially for South Wales valley routes, where heavy tank engines were needed to handle coal traffic. Introduced in 1924 the class proved so useful that within 5 years 200 locomotives were in service in every corner of the GWR network, efficiently handling local goods and passenger services.

Era 5 - This model of 5639 painted in the BR black livery with late crest is completed in a weathered finish.

The second batch of the class 150 units incorporated corridor connections into the cab ends, enabling through communication when units were coupled together. Power operated sliding doors replaced slam doors, allowing a wider door opening and quicker passenger boarding.

A??ready built and painted??resin model of a small wooden engine shed, typical of the style errected by minor railways, seeking the most ecconomical covered accomodations for their locomotive. Many of these sheds survived on remote branchlines into the 1950s.

Model of the early bodystyle class 26/0 locomotives. These were the original 20 pilot scheme BRCW type 2 locomotives. The later locomotives, which might be considered the production type, incorporated a small number of detail changes made after experience of the initial 20.

One of the last class 26s in service 26001 was repainted into the BR green livery with it's original number D5301 and named Eastfield, then the main depot for the class. This model replicates the 'celebrety' 26, which can still be seen today at the Caledonian Railway, Brechin.

This coach is painted in the Western region chocolate and cream livery, matching the coach sets used for express passenger services from 1957 to 1967.

BCK vehicles were often used as through coaches, allowing an express train to be???divided and serve several final destinations. The BCK provided all of the necessary accomodation for passengers and guard in one coach, ideal for adding a direct service to London from a branch line.

Sent new to the Western region 47237 passed through the hands of DRS before moving back to Gloucester with spot-hire freight operator Advenza. The real locomotive is still stored at Gloucester station. ViTrains provide a heavy chassis to propel their 47s, allowing realistic trains to be hauled. The bodyshell is possibly the most accurate OO model of the class to date, with a wide range of optional detailing parts such that an individual locomotive can be correctly detailed. Sadly however none of the class survived to preservation, having been replaced by multiple unit trains and the early, low-powered diesel locomotives by the mid 1960s.

However there is a new project to build a new loco on the SVR well underway, with the frames having been errected at Bridgenorth.

This model of 82030 is painted in the lined brunswick green passenger livery, applied to many of the Western region locomotives in the late 1950s at their first major overhaul. In 1955 82030 was based at Shrewsbury shed.

Midland Railway standard type 4d signal box, based on the prototype at Swadlincote Junction. The kit is designed to assemble easily and can be shortened or extended (with another kit) if desired.

Following from the highly successful relesae of two 'Coronation' locomotives named after British Commonwealth countries the remaining two (both preserved) are scheduled for 2010 release.
60010 Dominion od Canada was named for the introduction of the Coronation service, one of four dedicated locomotives. Prior to the official naming the Canadian Pacific Railway provided a whistle and bell for the locomotive to their standard pattern. One of very few British locomotives to carry these North American fitings in service. Withdrawn from service in 1965 Dominion of Canada was cosmetically restored and presented to the Canadian Railroad Historical Society. Placed in the Canadian Railway Museum the locomotive is cared for by a dedicated group of volunteers.
