This rectangular tank wagon was one of two ordered by T H Harvey for the chemical works in Plymouth. Chemical manufacturers used tank wagons to transport a wide range of materials, but the most common was coal tar, a by-product of town gas production. This could be refined to produce a wide range of petro-chemicals, including creosote and benzene.

Evening Star was the last new steam locomotive built for British Railways at the former Great Western Swindon plant.

This model uses the older Hornby 9F tooling, producing a reliable, budget priced model ideal for younger modellers. The model has the motor fitted into the locomotive boiler, powering the locomotives' ten driving wheels.

This Kadee uncoupler magnet assembly is designed to be fitted beneath the track sleeper base with a steel plate to ensure that the magnetic effect will open the knuckles reliably.

Once the knuckles are opened the real Kadee magic comes into play, as the couplers will go into a coupling delay position. A tongue fitted to each each coupler prevents the knuckels from re-engaging and the train can be propelled clear of the magnet. Only when the train is finally separated do the knuckles recentre ready for coupling again.

These intermodal twin wagons with containers are ideal for running with the new Aristocraft class 66 model locomotives.

A new livery on the Bachmann class 158 model announced 2008. Expected July 2009.

Many operators use the air-conditioned class 158 Sprinter trains, so many different and very colourful liveries have appeared in recent years. This model carries the Central Trains green livery scheme as operating across much of the Midlands region until late 2007 and many of the trains still carry this livery.

Many operators use the air-conditioned class 158 Srpinter trains, so many different and very colourful liveries have appeared in recent years. This model carries the Northern Rail dark blue/purple/white scheme.

A highly detailed model of the early build Freightliner series of class 57 locomotives, retaining many of the characteristic features of the original class 47 bodyshell. A heavy diecast chassis with a central skew wound motor provides plenty of power for this distinctive freight hauler.

Bachmann have made an excellent model of the Derby class 108 diesel multiple units. This is the 3-car version of the units, with a powered driving brake car, central trailer car and a non-powered driving motor car. These 3-car 108 sets operated on most regions of BR, particularly in the later years when these units were often cascaded into new areas to replace life-expired DMUs.

This model is painted in the corporate blue and grey livery, used on DMUs which had undergone life-extension overhauls around 1980. The livery suited the units well, making rail travel much brighter and attractive than the image projected by the plain blue scheme.

A new version of the Bachmann class 170 unit in the colourful One livery as operating in East Anglia.

The BR Mk.1 coach was designed in the early 1950s the design has been in service ever since, outlasting BR in mainline service, with several still in use on charter trains, plus providing the backbone passenger stock for many heritage railways.

This model is of the second class side corridor coach, the most numerous type built, painted in the BR corporate blue and grey livery.

A useful AC transformer ideal for providing power for controllers and point motor supplies. Two 16-volt output windings are provided at a maximum output of 1.25amps.

Please note that this transformer must be installed inside an enclosure suitable for mains power use.

An excellent twin-track power controller unit, with power outputs for accessories also provided, allowing point motors to be connected without needing another power supply. The power transformer is incorporated into the controller, it has a 240-volt AC power cable and plug attached, no separate transformer unit is required.
