The latest in DCC control systems, Bachmann's new Dynamis allows you total freedom of operating location through the use of a wireless handset combined with a powerful Digital Command Control system. A toggle joystick provides both speed and locomotive selection control, while a backlit LCD screen provides a graphical interface, including the ability to display a locomotive name or description. Dual banking of the 10 function buttons provide control over the lighting functions and sound capabilities of current decoders and the graphical displays make decoder programming and tuning easy. Locomotives can be recalled and selected by name or number, with 2 and 4 digit addressing supported. Just to finish the cake the handset retains locomotive data, so you can move your handset and locomotives from one layout to another!

Point and accessory decoders can also be controlled from your Dynamis system. Wiring your points for DCC control makes your Dynamis a portable, hand-held wireless control panel for your entire layout!

The IR transceiver module (seen on top of the command station) is also removable, allowing this module to be mounted away from the unit for good reception, eg. on a wall behind the layout.

The high-power multi-transceiver infrared system has been designed to work reliably even without direct line-of-sight. The signal will easily reflect from walls providing up to 5 metres range.
Large layouts will benefit from the multi-user abilities with up to 4 Dynamis handsets (36-507) of the Dynamis Pro (36-506), which can be achieved using your Dynamis and the Dynamis Pro upgrade box (36-508), also allowing use of an extension transceiver (36-509) to ensure signals can be communicated reliably from hidden corners.
