Stone built houses with a rural appeal. Based on the houses of the Settle to Carlisle railway, but could be used anywhere, from the centre of a busy village to the most remote of locations.

Using a Storage module, the decoder and the locomotive are still supplied with power even when there is a current interruption on the track (e.g. a dead frog or dirty track).

GOLD SERIES

The Digital plus Gold Maxi locomotive decoder is designed for use with large O, 1 and G gauge locomotives. The decoder will deliver 3amps continuous current with a 5amp peak capacity. In addition there are 9 function controls available, ideal for wiring full light control on G gauge diesel locomotive models, with capacity to spare for controlling smoke generators and cooling fans.

Decoder measures 70mm x 29mm x 12mm (2¾in x 1.15in x ½in)

A direct plug in version of the 8-pin Silver decoder, the DCC plug is actually incorporated into the decoder circuit board. This decoder mounts directly on the locomotive DCC socket, provided sufficient space is available directly over the socket for the decoder. The decoder should be able to be accomodated in many diesel locomotive bodyshells and in steam locomotives with decoder sockets in the tender.

The "Silver" series has all the same features as the "HO Gold" decoder, but will not support SUSI, Railcom and USP.

Bachmanns' deatiled model of the BR class 08 heavy deisel shunting locomotive is presented in the black livery originally applied to shunting engines. the 13xxx series numbers were applied during the 1950s before mainline diesel locomotives arrived. The D3xxx series was setup later as the shunters was assimilated into the new diesel locomotive numbering scheme.

Heljan have announced the production of the BR class 58 locomotive in 2007. Built in the 1980's the class 58 was designed to permit easy maintenance, with a narrow hood. Doors along the sides of the hood permitted access to the engine and internal equipment.

DRS class 66 66 411 carries this special Eddie Stobart 'Eddie the Engine' livery to mark the partnership of DRS and Eddie Stobart haulage for the long-distance trunk rail haulage of Tesco traffic from Daventry (Northamptonshire) international terminal to Scotland.

The complex livery has been accurately replicated for this OO model of 66411, using the new bodyshell and chassis to correctly model the revised low-emissions version of the class 66. The chassis retains the powerful motor driving all six axles, directional lighting and 21-pin DCC socket.

A new version of the Bachmann class 108 diesel multiple unit in the later blue & grey livery, as seen on the Western region replacing the unsuccesful Pacer trains.

This model of Plymouth based unit P956 is fitted with Paignton and Exeter destination blinds, a service along the South Devon coast including the sea walls section through Dawlish and Teignmouth and the popular holiday beaches of Torquay.

This is a great little set featuring a characterful blue diesel shunting locomotive, named Harry, typical of many private industrial shunting engines, Two colourful private owner wagons and a guards brake van complete the rolling stock.

We thing that this is a really good way for a youngster to start a model ralway. Small and easy to handle it is not too expensive yet can easily be built up with the addition of extra track and points and the huge range of OO scale accessories.

Peco Streamline code 55 track is designed to provide a lower rail section appearance, closer to a scale sized rail. A special rail section has been used, with part of the rail set into the sleepers, maintaining the strength and durability of the rail. This unit is designed to allow two locomotives to be run on one circuit of track yet not collide with one another due to different running speeds. Two aspect colour light signals (two wire only eg HBYS) can be installed at each section and bypass switches can be added allowing locomotives access to sidings if required. One of the GWR's principal daily express trains the Cambrian Coast Express linked the rural and market towns along the west coast of Wales with Birmingham and London. GWR Manor class 4-6-0 locomotive 7811 Dunley Manor was used to haul the train from Shrewsbury, along the scenic route through through mid-Wales to Machynlleth, then along the dramatic coastline to Aberystwyth, Barmouth and Phwllheli. The two Collett design coaches in full GWR livery match the polished elegance of a Great Western express engine, representing one portion of this long-distance express.

An excellent model of a high-sided 7-plank open wagon fitted with coke rails for additional cubic capacity. Operated by Peake, Oliver & Peake Ltd. based at the London coal exchange this wagon is marked for coke traffic only and would have been used to transport coke from ovens in many coal fields to terminals in the London area.

Coke is a processed form of coal from which many impurities have been driven off. The resulting coke burns much more intensely than normal coal and is required for some industrial processes (eg. metal smelting furnaces) and burns more cleanly, making it a favoured fuel for some cooking stoves.
