A new version of the BR class 31 with the original cab roof style and disc indicators. Traction power is supplied by a 5-pole skew wound motor, centrally mounted with drive to both bogies. NEM coupler pockets and a DCC socket are fitted.
31111 is painted in the BR corporate blue livery of the 1970's and early 80's, with light bodyside weathering.
