Completely new tooling for the class 56!

Hornby really have brought the class 56 up to current standards of detail with this new model. A smooth running mechanism and heavy chassis provides plenty of train-pulling power, just like the real locomotive! The bodyshell features see-thorugh roof fan grilles with cooling fans beneath and the detail differences between batches and builders have been incorportaed into the new tooling.

56 059 is one of the Doncaster built locomotives, presented here in the recent EWS maroon and gold livery. This model is supplied for DC control, with a DCC decoder socket.
