The second batch of the class 150 units incorporated corridor connections into the cab ends, enabling through communication when units were coupled together. Power operated sliding doors replaced slam doors, allowing a wider door opening and quicker passenger boarding.

The Bachmann model features tinted glazing, directional lighting and a 5 pole motor with flywheels for smooth running.
