An excellent new model of the world beating InterCity 125 High Speed Train.
This model is the as built condition of the HST power units with original detailing and no smoke deflector hood. Based on a pair of Western Region power units in the first years of HST operations on the Great Western mainlines from London paddington to Bristol and South Wales.
British Rail Intercity 125 High Speed Train with power and dummy cars in the original blue and yellow livery.
This train is be supplied ready for DC operation. Both cars are DCC Ready, 2 decoders with 8-pin plugs are required to permit control of lighting circuits on the dummy unit.
Hornby have incorporated many design alterations into the tooling of the new HST power units. This will allow the correct roof grilles, hoods and fans to be modelled, reflecting the changes and modifications made during the long service lives of these trains. | |
