Tower O GWR BR 1361 Late 0-6-0ST with Black Chassis (TBL17)
An excellent model of the GWR's small 1361 class saddle tank locomotive. The class was built as a 'modern' replacement for a wide variety of 19th century engines used in docks and yards where larger pannier tanks were prohibited by weight or size. These versatile locomotives were large enough for branchline operations however, making the small class very suitable for many modelling layouts.

The class boasted 3' 8" driving wheels, 2 16" x 20" cylinders, a steam pressure of 150 psi. Weight was 35 tons 4 cwt and the tractive effort produced 14,835lb.
