What a beast this will be when finished. The warship class locos named after Royal Navy ships. Were mainly kept on the western region but did reach Waterloo (SR) and Crewe (MR) they lasted in service until 1972. Liveries went from Green, Maroon and the final BR Blue livery. Many pictures depict well-worn locos with paint worn off to give a tatty finish. A good chance to try those weathering techniques.
