Peco Streamline code 55 track is designed to provide a lower rail section appearance, closer to a scale sized rail. A special rail section has been used, with part of the rail set into the sleepers, maintaining the strength and durability of the rail. The rail will also connect directly??code 80 trackwork??using the same rail joiners. SL300F features a flexible moulded sleeper base representing the wood sleepers.

Recommended for N Gauge Track

Blackened mild steel pins, 14mm (9/16") long. For fixing most Streamline track gauges???to wood fibre board (Sundeala) or similar baseboard surfaces.

Note that these are fine pins, not nails and cannot be driven with a hammer. We recommend drilling through sleepers with a 0.5 or 0.7mm drill. When using plywood or chipboard continuing drilling into the board to get the pin started. The pin can normally be driven home with a small hammer.

An impressive piece of trackwork which incoporates four turnouts and a crossing. The scissors crossover allowed trains from either track to cross to the other track and was often found at the entry to terminus stations, allowing trains to access platforms on both sides of a double track line and be routed onto the correct track on departure. This can be difficult to assemble from individual track components, so this preassembled crossover is a great help!
