Long crossing with insulated frog at 10 degrees. These crossings are used where a diverging route must cross a parallel track, eg at double-track juntions.
Length 154mm 6 1/16in, diverging angle 10 degrees.
While electrofrog crossings have a much shorter section where track power is not available as the wheels pass through the frog the insulfrog crossover can simplify the track power wiring needed at junctions. | |
