This section contains 12V DC analogue controllers that are suitable for model loco's that are not fitted for digital control.  Analogue controllers work by controlling the voltage sent to the track - the higher the voltage the higher the speed and have a nominal maximum of 12v. Normally, one controller can control several tracksas long as just one loco' is in operation. If two are required to runn at the same another controlled output fis required.

Hornby Single Track Train Controller (R965)

Low cost train controller allowing forward and reverse with proportional speed control. Requires a 16v AC input from a Hornby C990 plug in wall transformer. The output is 12v DC controlled plus it has a 16v output for operating points, signals etc.

An inexpensive starter option.

Requires C990 mains transformer.
