Parkside Dundas OO GWR Fruit D Van (PC74)
High quality easily assembled kit from Parkside to build a model of the GWR 'Fruit D' long wheelbase fruit van. Metal wheels and brass bearings included.

Built towards the end of the GWR many were built after nationalisation. Suitable for running at passenger train speeds these vans were widely used for perishable fruit and express parcels traffic. Following the loss of much of this traffic to road transport these vans were used on the Western Region engineering parts (ENPARTS) distribution network, set up to supply depots with exchange parts for the diesel-hydraulic locomotive fleet.
