A superb model of the Devon Belle Pullman tail observation car.
Two of these special coaches were built for the Devon Belle service, providing passengers with excellent panoramic views of the Devonshire countryside. Pullman staff provided top quality service with refreshments, ensuring that passengers did not need to leave their seats to refill their glasses.
Happily one of these cars survives in passenger service today on the Torbay steam railway. | |
