This model of the Mk1 Pullman car is a very good model of the prototype with excellent detailing and finely printed lettering. The livery captures the famous Pullman umber and cream scheme well. Interior lighting and table lamps are fitted to these coaches. The use of NEM coupler pockets allows the use of tension lock or alternative couplers.
Kitchen cars supplying full meal service formed the backbone of the Pullman fleet, with parlour cars being added when additional seating capacity was required. 15 second class kitchen lounge cars of this type were built.
Pullman second class still offered full meal service and more comfortable seating than was available in normal first class.
The interior lighting circuit is DCC compatible. | |
