Formerly the Hadrian Bar of the Tees-Tyne pullman, the car was renamed Nightcap Bar for use with the overnight sleeper trains from London Euston to Scotland. Repainted into the corporate standard blue/grey to match the other coaches the distinctive recesssed doors showed the car's Pullman heritage.

Bachmann have produced excellent models of these Pullman cars, with very nicely reproduced livery details and interior lighting. The use of NEM coupler pockets allows the use of tension lock or alternative bar couplers.

The interior lighting circuit is DCC compatible.
