A new standard decoder from Lenz to replace the LE1000 series decoders. The standard decoder is based on the Lenz Silver decoder design, featuring 3 functions. This decoder does not have the more advanced functionality available with Silver and Gold series decoders.

A direct plug in version of the 8-pin Silver decoder, the DCC plug is actually incorporated into the decoder circuit board. This decoder mounts directly on the locomotive DCC socket, provided sufficient space is available directly over the socket for the decoder. The decoder should be able to be accomodated in many diesel locomotive bodyshells and in steam locomotives with decoder sockets in the tender.

GOLD SERIES

The Digital plus Gold Maxi locomotive decoder is designed for use with large O, 1 and G gauge locomotives. The decoder will deliver 3amps continuous current with a 5amp peak capacity. In addition there are 9 function controls available, ideal for wiring full light control on G gauge diesel locomotive models, with capacity to spare for controlling smoke generators and cooling fans.
