A 21-pin connection version of the popular Lenz Silver decoder, ideal for use with latest Bachmann models. The "Silver" series has all the same features as the "HO Gold" decoder, but will not support SUSI, Railcom and USP.

The Lenz Silver 21 decoder features a 23kHz high frequency pulse-width motor controller with configuration settings for six motor types incorporated into CV50. Further fine tuning is possible using CVs 113 and 114 with motor type settings 4 or 5. Speed curves can easily be adjusted using CVs 2,5 and 6 to set minimum, maximum and mid speed settings. The decoder automatically adapts the speed characteristics to provide a smooth acceleration curve.

Supported CVs and default values/settings

Note that the Lenz decoders support CV19 consist addressing for multiple locomotive operation. Ideal for use with double-headed trains, eg BR class 20 locomotives in nose-to-nose operation.
