Hornby OO LB&SCR Terrier 0-6-0T Fulham Improved Engine Green Livery (R2605)
Hornby Collectors Centre Special Edition Model
Painted in Stroudley's Improved Engine Green, actually an ochre colour, this model represents the Terrier 0-6-0 tank engine early in its career. These locomotives were built for suburban services from London and were given the names of London boroughs, number 44 carrying the name Fulham in gold lettering on the side tank.
The Hornby Terrier is a very nice model of these small tank engines, which had long working lives, for the LB&SCR, the Southern Railway, British Railways and several light railway companies. The motor is fitted inside the boiler and side tanks, allowing the cab to be kept clear for interior detailing. A good level of detailing is achieved, with separate handrails and pipes.
Hornby Collectors Centre Model. Production 1,200 models.
