The Collett Goods 0-6-0 has long been a popular small GW engine. Designed to replace the Victorian engineering of the Dean or Standard goods, the new Collett engines of the 1930s had modern boilers and cabs, greatly appreciated by the crew!

Often known as Baby Castles due to their family resembelence to the express passenger engines these small 0-6-0s were at home hauling passenger and goods trains on secondary routes and longer branchlines, several even being transferred to the Somerset & Dorset lines under BR ownership.

This model is pre-painted in plain black livery, ready for the application of numbers and lettering for wartime GWR or BR era liveries.
