New Brassworks Guage 1 model announced 2008

This will be a superb Gauge 1 model of the famous Stanier design Black 5 4-6-0 mixed traffic locomotive. Locomotives of this class were among the final steam locomotives in service with British railways in 1968, hauling several of the farewell to steam railtours. Many Black 5s have survived in preservation, hauling passengers on heritage railways and mainline railtours.

This model is supplied with a flush sided welded construction tender and finished in plain black, ready for finishing with lettering and lining to match a locomotive of your choice..
