Scammel Highwayman tractor units were originally used by BOC to tow special insulated 'Cryogenic' tankers built by Scammel trailers with BOC Cryoplants aluminium inner vessels.They transported deeply refrigerated liquid oxygen, argon or nitrogen at temperatures levels as low as -196 degrees C.
