New model announced 2008

The last built of the general service air braked open wagons, the steel sided OCA open wagons were strong and robust vehicles, suitable for a wide range of loads.

This model is painted in the engineers grey and yellow Dutch livery scheme. Many OCA wagons carried this livery, being transferred to the engineering fleet following a downturn in rail freight business. This allowed older wagons to be eliminated from the wagon fleet, but many of these wagons have since returned to revenue traffic use with EWS, often without repainting.
