Built in the art-deco style of the 1930s these buildings were and remain a feature of the Southern and London Transport electrified networks. The circular-ended design still looks clean and attractive today.

The use of this styling for signal boxes provided the signalmen with a good panoramic view of the track and approaching trains especially at junctions where lines could pass both sides of the 'box. Model measures 233 x 83 x 78mm
