This unit is designed to allow two locomotives to be run on one circuit of track yet not collide with one another due to different running speeds. Two aspect colour light signals (two wire only eg HBYS) can be installed at each section and bypass switches can be added allowing locomotives access to sidings if required. A soft start and stop has been incorporated for realism.

The unit stores up power in capacitors and when a point motor is actuated, discharges in one big punch giving the point motor a firm and positive switching action. Connected to points via switches or probe and studs. Prevents burnt out motors.
