Gaugemaster Model Select - Single Track Controller (SELECT)
Single Track Transformer Controller designed to maximise slow running capabilities for ‘N’, ‘OO’ and most Gauges

Output: 1 x 12/17v D.C. at either 1 amp or 0.3 amp controlled
1 x 24v A.C. at 1 amp uncontrolled for accessories

Fine speed adjustment on a standard unit is limited by the 300 degree rotation of the control knob from zero to full speed. The Select allows this speed range to be restricted with an attenuator knob so that full rotation of the control knob gives very sensitive speed regulation from zero to, say, walking pace or whatever maximum you require for shunting, backing onto a train or other low speed movements. When the speed reaches the limit imposed by the attenuator knob this can then be rotated to bring the train up to full speed if required. For occasions when a little more power is needed - double heading, long trains, scale running “high speed” trains - the Select will give you an additional five volts at the flick of a switch. The extra weight of a long train ensures virtually seamless acceleration to the higher maximum. The controlled output can be set at either 1 amp, or for ‘N’ gauge users at 0.3 amp if required.
