The electromagnet coil pushes the long pin up to raise the uncoupler ramp used with tension lock couplings. This unit can be mounted beneath the baseboard, with only a hole suitable for the activator pin needing to be drilled through to the uncoupler ramp above.
Antics recommends the use of a push-to-make pushbutton or spring-biased toggle switch to operate this uncoupler to ensure that it is de-energised and returned to the lowered position promptly after use. | |
