New numbered model announced 2010. Expected Winter 2010/11.
One of the classic Great Western locomotives the 61xx class 2-6-2 Large Prairie tank locomotives were designed for heavy subburban passenger services. Many of the type later moved to work on the longer branchlines and secondary passenger trains on cross-country routes.
This model of 6110 is painted in the post WW2 GWR livery with letters G W R on the side tanks. The green livery is finished with the GWR trademark copper cap chimney and polished safety valve cover.
