A new batch of the Bulleid design Q1 class 0-6-0 locomotives in the original wartime style Southern Railway paint scheme.

These locomotives have the motor mounted in the tender with a drive shaft powering the locomotive wheels. This has proved to be an excellent arrangement, allowing maximum weight to be applied over the driving wheels while accomodating a powerful and smooth running skew-wound motor into the model.
