The Bulleid West Country class 4-6-2 'light pacific' express passenger locomotives were built to provide modern power for trains over Southern Railway routes in the west country to Plymouth, Ilfracombe and Padstow. No.21C101 'Exeter' is modelled in original condition with air-smoothed streamline casing in Southern Railway Malachite green livery.

Even as late as the 1950s some Terriers were still hauling passenger service on branchlines where axle loading restrictions prohibited larger engines. This model carries the BR mixed traffic lined black livery, representing the late stages of these locomotives' long careers.
