The Bulleid West Country class 4-6-2 'light pacific' express passenger locomotives were built to provide modern power for trains over Southern Railway routes in the west country to Plymouth, Ilfracombe and Padstow. A later member of the class named in commemeration of the defence of Britain over the areas where the Southern Railway ran, No.34064 'Fighter Command' is modelled in late British Railways condition with air-smoothed streamline casing in BR lined green livery with the later type crest.
