A new model of the class 156 sprinter unit is due from Dapol during the 3rd quarter of 2008. This will be another of Dapols' high specification platinum range N gauge models, with powered and dummy versions available, allowing longer formations to be modelled with ease.

These trains were built for BR Regional Railways, unit 156 448 carries the original livery style with pale blue bodyside stripe. This is an unpowered unit, designed to be run with powered unit ND082A numbered 156 418.
