A superbly detailed and powered model of a Plasser track tamper, frequently seen but rarely modelled engineering track maintenance machine. Featuring detailed tamping arms and machinery, plus clear glazed driving and crew compartments.

These self-propelled maintenance vehicles are used to maintain the line and level of railway track by mechanically lifting the track and packing ballast beneath the sleepers. Frequently seen in sidings along with other interesting looking engineering machines, or travelling along the mainline between work sites.
