A ready built and painted resin model of a typical colliery headgear with twin winding wheels. Based on a South Wales prototype, this is an ideal unit to start a colliery complex.
Although many well-known collierys featured large complexes of buildings and sidings a smaller colliery can easily be recreated with Scenecraft buildings. Several of the small operations in the North Somerset coal field had only the most basic of buildings and filled wagons from a loading bank alongside one siding.
