Dapol have announced that their catenary system will be released along with the new class 86 electric locomotives during 2009. It is anticipated that this will consist of a detailed N scale model of the later style of BR lineside mast, not including wiring.

The catalogue description indicates that two arm lengths will be available and that the masts will have a threaded base, intended to fit through a baseboard for securing beneath using a wing nut. This will also allow a mast to be removed and replaced easily if it becomes bent or broken. Packs of 6 and 12 masts will be available, so watch out for updates!
