92220 was the last new steam locomotive constructed for British railways and was completed in the full lined brunswick green passenger livery. 92220 is also well known as the locomotive hauling the last Pines Express over the famous Somerset and Dorset route from Bath to Bournemouth.

An excellent model of the BR class 4MT 2-6-4 tenak engine. One of the most popular of the standard designs the 4MT tank replaced many elderly locomotives during the 1950s. The new locomotive was capable of running fast suburban passenger trains and, with large water tanks, able to undertake longer cross-country services.
80048 painted in the early BR lined black livery with lion over wheel emblem. This model has been lightly weathered to better represent a hard working locomotive near the end of a busy days' work.
more | Graham Farish N BR 82016 3MT Standard 2-6-2 Tank Locomotive Lined Black Early Emblem (372-325)
The BR standard 3MT 2-6-2 tank locomotives were designed to fill the slot between the smaller class 2 tank engines and larger tender engines, many of which were older designs of Victorian heritage. These modern tank engines offered similar power, utility, economy and crew comfort as the GWRs' earlier 45xx design, with which they shared many duties on the Western region.
Sadly like many of the BR standard classes the 3MTs had a short life. Diesel multiple units took over branch, local and suburban services and much local goods business was lost to road transport.
