Model of one of the nidely lettered 5-plank wagons operated by Black Rock Quarries from Portishead, part of the Roads Reconstruction empire. The wagons were used for transporting roadstone.
The Black Rock quarry was, at one time, served by the Weston, Clevedon and Portishead light railway, an independnt light railway on the North Somerset coast. One of the lines' locomotives, a Terrier type named Portishead, has recently been produced by Hornby in its later GWR livery.
