A neatly reproduced model of a 5-plank open wagon in use by the Hopton-Wood Stone Firm. This wagon was used for delivery of limestone products from the company's base in Worksworth, Derbyshire to customers across the UK. The company produced furnace and foundry limestone, used as a catalyst in the manufacture and casting of iron and steel, plus road paving materials including kerb and paving stones.
