Dapol OO Teign Valley Granite 4-Plank Open Wagon (B736)

A nice model of a 4-plank open wagon as operated by the Teign Valley Granite company. The Teign valley company operated or had interests in quarries across the UK and their wagons travelled very widely delivering quarried stone.

Teign Valley Granite had interests in many quarries in England, Wales and Scotland during the early 20th century. The company later formed part of the Roads Reconstruction consortium, which later formed the basis of ARC, now owned by the Hanson group and operating as Hanson Aggregates.
