William Thomas operated a brick works at Wellington in Somerset, this wagon would have been used to collect coal for furnaces and deliver the finished bricks to customers.
Wagon number 1 was painted in a plain black livery, advertising the companys' business as 'patent brick & tile manufacturers'. This Dapol model will be fitted with a load of bricks and equiped with free running metal wheels.
