An excellent model of the classic 7-plank open coal and merchandise wagon painted in the BR goods grey livery.

British Railways inherited thousands of coal wagons from the ministry of transport, these having been requisitioned during WW2 for pool use. Many of these elderly wooden wagons were not fit for further service. Those wagons??still in good condition were overhauled and repainted in goods grey, surviving through the 1950s until replaced by new-built wagons.
