An upgrade for the Dynamis (36-505) unleasing the full potential of the Dynamis system with functionality comparable with the most powerful market leading DCC systems currently available.

The Dynamis system has been designed on a modular basis from the outset, allowing new modules to be developed and added easily. The Dynamis Pro upgrade is supplied complete with an expander module, allowing up to 5 IR modules to be connected, plus one additional IR module and extension cable. The pro box is designed to fit beneath the Command Centre in a stack, communicating through the multi-way connector underneath the command centre box.
Upgrading to Dynamis Pro allows the attachment of up to 5 IR sensors, eliminating range and line-of-sight issues on even the largest layouts, plus up to four Dynamis handsets (36-507) can be registered, giving additional operators full access to your layout.

That's not all the Pro box does! It is equiped with the ECoSLink high speed data bus interface allowing access to ECoSLink compatible devices and has a programming track output. By careful system design the programming track can even be incorporated into your layout and used as a regular section of track in normal service.

Don't forget that the registered locomotive data is held in the handset, making it easy for you to take your handset and engines to run on another Dynamis controlled layout.

The design of the Dynamis and Dynamis Pro systems have been carefully thought out. Not only does the Pro box bring the solutions to many of the potential issues of Infra-Red data communications but also connectivity with the ESU ECoSLink product range.

The attention to detail design is typified by the arrangement of the programming track, which can be connected with the layout during normal operation. You can use the programming track as just another loco stabling track in a shed or yard. When switching to programming mode the main output signal is switched off and only the programming output is active, so only locomotives and on-train decoders in the train on the programming track will be addressed. When exiting progamming mode the progamiing track will respond to the main output and you can simply drive the train out, into service.
This is possibly the ideal solution for programming multi-coach unit trains equiped with semi-permanent couplers and separate decoders to control lighting in end and motored cars. The train doesn't need to be split, recoupled or re-railed, simply drive into the progamming siding, adjust the decoder settings and drive the train out!
