Hornby OO GWR 0-4-0T Locomotive No 101 (R2431)
Ideal for the short trains of a small layout or branch line, this locomotive will look at home in charge of a few wagons. The Great Western really did build this small 0-4-0 for shunting around their Swindon works complex. As your layout grows this little tank engine will be right at home, loaned out to your station yard.

GWR locomotive 101 was built for experimental use to test new ideas on a real locomotive doing a real job. Initially used for experiments with oil firing, it spent most of its life shunting around the GWR Swindon works where it could be kept under observation.
