Totally re-tooled model of Gresley's legendary A4 express locomotive.

Now preserved as part of the national collection LNER 4468 Mallard is the holder of the world speed record for conventional steam locomotives. This model is presented in the preserved condition, restored to the appearance of the locomotive around the time of the speed record run.

Superb model of this Peppercorn designed A1 Pacific. The class was designated 8P6F, the top rating for express train work and in 1955 60115 was based at Gateshead and used on the major express trains between the north east and Edinburgh or London's Kings Cross.

Available in a ready-to-run model for the first time, the ex-LNER K3 class mogul is nicely detailed by Bachmann. This version carries the BR lined black livery with the later lion emblem. In 1959 No. 61949 was shedded at 32C - Lowestoft. Usage would have been on both second line passenger trains and fast freight

A new BR lined brunswick green liveried version of the ex-LNER V2 class 2-6-2. These exceptionally powerful and versatile locomotives formed a strong second line to the express passenger pacifics on the East Coast route. The V2 was usually deployed on heavy passenger trains and express goods trains, but could easily take over one of the principal expresses when required.

An excellent new model of LNER V2 class 2-6-2 4771 Green Arrow as preserved at the National Railway Museum, York.

Powered by the proven Bachmann chassis and motor providing good slow running and realistic top speed this model is painted in the Doncaster version of the LNER apple green livery.

The J72 was one of the first British model railway products manufactured by Bachmann's parent company Kader.

This model of LNER 581 was part of the Kader 60th anniversay pack and is painted in the lined apple green livery. Several J72s were unofficially painted in this livery when used on station pilot duties at major stations. Local management clearly thought of the companys' public image when they ordered the little black shunting engine to be painted in the smart express passenger livery.

The LNER J39 was designed as a goods locomotive, but found a niche as a modern and powerful general purpose branchline engine.

Bachmanns' model provides plenty of power for realistic branch goods and passenger operations while capturing the chunky, workmanlike lines of these engines.

64897 is provided with a flush sided tender and painted in the standard BR plain black livery for goods engines.

The Thompson B1 class was one the LNERs most successful classes. Introduced in 1942 the locomotives were almost new when BR took over ownership and many lasted until the end of steam on the Eastern region in 1967.

This model of 61003, named Gazelle, carries the BR mixed traffic lined black livery with the later style of crest.

Designed for the Great Central Railway these 2-8-0 goods engines were adopted as the standard design for the War Departments' Railway Operating Department (ROD) during the first world war. Many of these locomotives had long lives, lasting into the 1960s, having passed through the hands of the LNER as class O4 and the GWR.

63601 is the sole preserved member of the type, part of the National Railway Museum collection. This model carries the BR black livery with the later lion and wheel crest.

This model will carry the final LNER passenger livery of apple green with LNER lettering, although the locomotive was not completed until the end of 1947 and would have been seen in this livery in the early years of British Railways ownership.

A new version of Bachmanns' excellent class A2 pacific model. 60537 Bachelors Button is presented in the early BR brunswick green livery.

Developed from the earlier build of class A2 this locomotive entered service after nationalisation in 1948, part of the LNER order for this class of locomotive.

A new version of Bachmanns' excellent class A2 pacific model. LNER number 525 named after the companys' last chief engineer, A H Peppercorn.

This model will carry the final LNER passenger livery of apple green, but as the locomotive was delivered after the beginning of 1948 the tender has been lettered for its' new owners, British Railways. This livery and lettering style was common on locomotives outshopped early in 1948 and would have been carried for several years.

A new release of the Gresley design LNER V3 class 2-6-2 tank engine. These large and powerful tank engines were ideal for suburban passenger operations.

67628 is painted in the BR lined black livery with late style crest.

A much requested model of the currently operational Gresley class A4 streamlined 60019 Bittern. Preserved on the Mid-Hants Railway, a direct connection to Network Rail at Alton allows Bittern to roam widely on mainline excursions.

This model is painted in the BR lined brunswick green livery, originally applied to Bittern in the late 1950s. The model is supplied with a non-corridor type tender, as used in British Railways service.
When restored to operation in 2007 this livery was reapplied, however the tender has now been equiped with a corridor to allow better communication with the support crew on mainline charters.

Following from the highly successful relesae of two 'Coronation' locomotives named after British Commonwealth countries the remaining two (both preserved) are scheduled for 2010 release.
60010 Dominion od Canada was named for the introduction of the Coronation service, one of four dedicated locomotives. Prior to the official naming the Canadian Pacific Railway provided a whistle and bell for the locomotive to their standard pattern. One of very few British locomotives to carry these North American fitings in service. Withdrawn from service in 1965 Dominion of Canada was cosmetically restored and presented to the Canadian Railroad Historical Society. Placed in the Canadian Railway Museum the locomotive is cared for by a dedicated group of volunteers.
