Available ready-to-run for the first time the LNER's strong and sturdy K3 class mogul, which was successful on both fast freight and local passenger services. A true workhorse! This version carries LNER black livery.
The K3's were surprisingly powerful 2-6-0's, classified as 5P6F by BR. Three 18 1/2" x 26" stroke cylinders and 5' 8" driving wheels gave a tractive effort of 30030 lb. Boiler pressure was 180psi. | |
