Hornby, in association with the National Railway Museum in York, have produced this superb model of the famous 4472 Flying Scotsman in preserved condition with smoke deflectors, as running in mid-2004. This model is DCC ready and fitted with NEM coupling pockets. A dummy screw coupling fitted to the engine, Hornby couplings are supplied. A superb steam locomotive for the modern era modeller. 1927 development of the Gresley GN 4-6-2 with 180lb boiler introduced in 1922 as Class A10.
