A nice looking weathered version of the highly detailed LMS Horwich Crab 2-6-0 goods locomotive. These distictive engines were among the first modern locomotives built for the LMS in the 1920's and served until the end of steam in the 1960's. The weathering helps draw out the fine details in addition to providing a more authentic look for a well travelled goods locomotive.
42942 carries the BR mixed traffic lined black livery with early type crest.
