The spirit of an earlier age comes alive in the Great Western Railway set, with a locomotive of the distinctive Pannier tank pattern hauling a mixture of freight rolling stock together with two four-wheel coaches in GWR's famouse chocolate and cream livery. It's a combination that realistically reflects the wide range of real life duties carried out by such trains and, with the inclusion of a 10 ton yard crane, makes a model with plenty of variety. The track is the Starter Oval plus extension Track Pack A to provide a siding. Extend the layout with extra Track Packs as time goes by

A good set for the beginner??with plenty of play value.??We think the smaller loco and wagons are easier to handle and??give more fun in the early stages of building a model railway. Larger loco's should arrive later, once the layout has built up in size.??The more points and sidings you can get the better.??
