Both Hornby and Bachmann sets use standard OO/HO track which is compatible - either may be expanded with either Hornby or Peco track. The loco's and rolling stock are also compatible as the couplings are very alike and will connect without problem. Both use a mains powererd controller providing a 12v variable speed supply for one locomotive. Unless stated otherwise they are ready to run once assembled.

Hornby OO Blue Pullman Train Set (R1093)

An excellent starter train set featuring the new Blue Pullman premier tour train, currently operated by Gloucestershire based Cotswold Rail and Heartland Railtours.

The set contains a class 47 diesel locomotive and three Mk.2 air conditioned coaches painted in the Nankin Blue Pullman livery of the 1960s. An oval of track is supplied together with the additional track containing in Track Pack A, allowing a siding to be added. A UK mains power transfomer and speed controller are supplied.

Recently refurbished and painted into the nankin blue livery used for the blue pullman trains of the 1960's these coaches form a premier tour train set.
