The powerful and smooth running Graham Farish class 50 in the unusual LMS-inspired maroon with gold bands livery applied to 50017 for use on luxury tour trains. The wheels have been chemically blackened to improve appearance and the current style of overhead wire warning flash has been applied near the cab doors.
